01What do I need to prepare before installation?

Before starting, make sure your phone or tablet can connect to the Internet normally and have an active ZoogVPN account ready. It is recommended to give priority to using the official app store on the device or the Android download portal on the site to avoid installing modified APKs from unknown sources.

• Check the Android system version and remaining space on the device.
• Confirm that the account email and password are available; if you forget your password, reset it first.
• Temporarily close other running VPN or proxy applications to avoid configuration conflicts.

02Download, install and complete the first connection

2. Enter the server list. When using it for the first time, you can choose a location that is closer to reduce the delay caused by distance.
3. Click Connect. Android displays a system-level VPN connection request, which is a required permission to establish a VPN configuration.

The city displayed by the DNS service is not necessarily exactly the same as the VPN exit, and you cannot judge whether there is a leak based on the region name alone. It should be analyzed together with the public IP, resolution service provider, application status, and split tunneling rules.
