ZOOGVPN · NO-LOGS POLICY
In addition to whether the connection is encrypted, how the data is processed is equally important. Learn more about ZoogVPN’s no-logs instructions and choose your privacy service more clearly.
Learn about this feature
No content of visited websites, apps, or VPN activity is retained.
User IPs, activity timestamps, and login/exit session logs are not collected.
Emails are used for account and service communication, and aggregate transmission volume does not include traffic content or destination addresses.
Understand the functions clearly
VPN activity logs may link online behavior to specific users. ZoogVPN’s no-log policy is that it does not collect or save users’ online activities, visited websites and applications, timestamps, user IP addresses, and login/exit session records.
No logging focuses on the processing of activity records by the server, and encryption focuses on data transmission in the connection. The two are used together to reduce transmission exposure and activity record retention respectively.
| Information type | Processing methods and purposes |
|---|---|
| VPN Internet activity | The content of visited websites, applications and activities is not collected or saved. |
| IP, timestamps and sessions | User IPs, activity timestamps, and login/exit session logs are not retained. |
| Used for account, subscription notification, support and service communication. Email information is not sold. | |
| Aggregated transfer volume | Records aggregate upload/download totals for operational purposes and does not include traffic content or destination addresses. |
| payment processing | The payment processor may obtain email information required to complete the transaction. |
| Websites and free apps | The website may use necessary cookies and permissioned basic analytics; the free Android app may contain AdMob ads. |
The main body of service operation is located in Greece. Registering and managing an account requires an email address and password; using a valid email address will help you receive account, subscription and support information. The presence of account information does not mean that VPN browsing history is saved.
Personal data is retained for as long as necessary to provide services, handle disputes and fulfill related obligations. Users may request access, correction, deletion or transfer of personal data in accordance with the applicable rules, as well as requests for restriction of processing or withdrawal of consent.
The no-logs promise does not equate to the website being unable to identify logged-in users. Information you actively submit to the website, browser cookies and account identities are still managed separately.
