Router detailed installation and configuration

  1. First record the router brand, model and firmware version, and check whether it has VPN client function in the management interface. VPN servers function differently than clients, and devices that only support the server cannot connect to the service accordingly.
  2. Back up existing configurations and retain local management portals. Confirm the protocols your firmware supports, such as OpenVPN; don't flash incompatible firmware just to try to connect.
  3. Prepare configuration and service credentials that match the selected protocol, server. No configuration files are shipped with this site; router model, firmware, and required server locations are provided through installation support.
  4. Enter the VPN client interface, create a new configuration and import the adaptation file. Fill in the authentication, certificate and connection parameters according to the firmware fields; the specific field names vary by model and need to be consistent with the obtained configuration.
  5. Save and connect to check the connection status and network access of the selected device. If the firmware supports split tunneling by device, you can first select a device for verification and then expand the scope of use.
  6. When the connection is abnormal, deactivate the newly created VPN configuration and restore the original network settings. Record the error message, firmware version and configuration method to facilitate troubleshooting by the support team.

Login and registration

If you already have an account, you can use your registered email address to log in within the ZoogVPN app. New users can register through the app's account creation portal; the same account can be used on supported platforms.

Select password reset on the app login interface, use your registered email address to receive emails, and check your spam folder. If you still cannot restore access, please contact the support team.

Packages, Renewals and Refunds

Please check where your subscription was purchased. Subscriptions purchased from the app store are managed by the corresponding store; for other billing issues, please provide your registered email address, payment date and order information and contact the support team. Deleting the app will not cancel renewal.

Set an independent password for the account and keep it properly.

Generate and save

Use your device or browser's built-in password manager to generate a long enough random password for ZoogVPN and save it. Don’t reuse passwords for email, social networking sites, or other services.

reset password

Use the password reset function on the app login screen. Confirm that the reset email comes from the intended service, and then follow the prompts; there is no need to send passwords or verification codes to customer service.

Check account access

When you suspect your password has been compromised, change your password promptly and contact the support team. Provide your registered email address and time when the problem occurred during consultation to avoid sending passwords or complete payment information.
